@@RicoResolves I think it's around the 1:00 mark where you discuss the linear chroma grading, perceptual saturation grading, and perceptual brilliance grading settings. That's on the colour balance RGB module, right?

I've tried everything including downloading the Microsoft Codec. I'm using 18.6.6 and it cannot find any media.... What other solutions are there? I think I have watch almost all the RUclips videos and none are resolving Davinci's "media offline" problem. So frustrating. I tried installing 19, after uninstalling 18.6.6. I cleared all the residual folders Resolve leaves after the uninstall. It is still broken.

@@RicoResolves I don't want to have to convert/render the video to another format. It is already in H.264 Resolve should be able to use it as is.
It did not for me either, however, I have FIXED THE ISSUE. Turns out, it is NOT a Media Offline problem, as in DaVinci cannot find the files, but a MISSING VIDEO CODEC! I noticed the files that worked were H.264 while the ones that did not were H.265. Downloaded the HEVC CODEC from the MS store on now the videos show up.

Have you tried the diffuse and sharpen module?
@@RicoResolves absolutely, I use it for pretty much every image! But I think it would have trouble with the level of blur you're adding here right?
@DarktableLandscapes yeah I don't think it would be the best solution to this effect.

Of the 3 free raw convertors that I used and like, Darktable is probably the best. I also used/have used Lightzone (basic but very good) and RawTherapee (powerful but more difficult to use).
You will also get this message if you don't have the right codec like HEVC. Error message is unclear.

the video is great, although I am struggling with the basics. Pretty much when you say to take the notepad and write down all that is wrong... I don't even know with some of them what exactly is wrong besides it clearly is off. So great to see where things can be improved but probably I need to look for some basics on what this editing actually does.
